Should Johnny Football start for the Browns next week?
Early in the 4th quarter after a Brain Hoyer interception, everyone cheered when they saw Johnny Manizel take the field aganist the Buffalo Bills. The score was 20-3. So why did they pull Hoyer? He only had 192 passing yards with 2 interceptions and it seemed like the Brown couldn't move the ball. They only came up with a Billy Cundiff field goal. Entering the game the Browns were in the thick of the AFC North race. Everyone was in a half game of the Bengals. With the Ravens and Steelers losing, the Browns still have a shot to make the playoffs. But will the Browns start Johnny Manziel next week? His first drive he drove down the field and did what Johnny does best. He scrambled for a touchdown and finishing with his famous money sign celebration to bring the game closer but in the end didn't produce a victory. Now 7-5, the Browns seem to have a little QB battle. Hoyer has gotten the Browns to where they are at the helm. It's not a smart decision to put Johnny in the middle of a playoff race. Hoyer is a veteran and even as a backup for Tom Brady, he saw what a playoff race consisted of. This is one of the best chances for the Browns to make the playoffs in recent history. Hoyer needs to stay at the QB position for the Browns to make a run. The Browns should include Johnny is more package plays to get him on the field. But this last into the season, a QB change wouldn't benefit the Browns.
