Tough Loss at ND for the Blue Devils

Coach K couldn't get his 1,001 victory. The Irish beat Duke 77-73. Notre Dame erased a 10 point defict to capture the victory. Leading 63-53, the Irish called a time-out. This was a turning point for the game. After the timeout, Matt Jones turned the ball over for a easy basket for Demetrius Jackson. Cut the lead to eight. Irish had the momentum and didn't miss from there on out.

Jerian Grant had 23 points and 12 assists to help carry the Irish to victory. Duke needs to put their foot to the gas when up by double digits to close out good teams like the Irish.

The Blue Devils will travel to 2nd ranked Virigina on Saturday. They will be hosting College Gameday. Virigina is undefeated and tough to play at home. Duke doesn't want to lose a second straight game for the second time this season. It will be tough facing the best defense in college basketball.
